We investigated if such anti-TG2 antibodies have a direct causative role in ataxia by injecting the anti-TG2 (class1), the anti-TG2-3-6 (class2) or the control (bac1) scFv into the lateral ventricle of mice and tested their effect on balance using the rotarod test [15]. Here, TGM2 is linked to cerebellar ataxia.
