Only phospho-PTEN was significantly and inversely correlated with death due to prostate cancer (r=−0.32, P=0.011) and a positive trend was observed with nuclear p65 staining (r=0.24, P=0.06) and phospho-Akt (r=0.22, P=0.08; Le Page et al, 2006).
