In addition, only five genes were up-regulated after virus infection: HaGNBP, HaCe1, HaGali, HaGlo, and HaLys, but the expression levels of the genes against the virus were much lower except HaGlo and HaLys. These phenomena suggest that the same AMP gene might respond to different pathogens by different expression patterns. This evidence concerns the gene HACE1 and viral infectious disease.
