Using major axis regression, the following relationships were found to best describe the (linear) relationship between Hb metrics and the prevalence of infections in children 2 to 10 years and Hb metrics: P2to10 = 0.854 * AP – 0.162 and P2to10 = −0.204 * PopHB +2.73. This evidence concerns the gene GSTM1 and infection.
