PRTN3 (also known as PR3) is located ~4 kb upstream of ELA2 on human chromosome 19 and its expression has been shown to be co-regulated with ELA2. Our results confirm this co-regulation as well as indicating that, at least in our patient cohort, the transcriptional regulation of these two genes is not uncoupled in CP CML patients (Figure 3B and 3C). Here, PRTN3 is linked to chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
