CCR7 and Crohn disease: To test the pertinence of confocal microscopy and flow cytometry, we used these two techniques to determine protein abundance of somatostatin receptor 5 (SSTR5) and chemokine receptor CCR7, two receptors that we have found to be significantly increased in Crohn's disease (CD) patients' peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and inflamed intestinal mucosa, respectively (ongoing work, full data not published).
