Particularly, we found that, similar to mRNA transcripts, before pregnancy TNFAIP3, SOCS2, and CxCR4 protein level were down-regulated in MS patients respect to healthy controls (all p≤0.004), while the overall deregulation of protein expression reverted to “normal” during gestation (Figure 4).
