FGF2 and neoplasm: In sum, our data show for the first time that a novel, 20-amino-acid peptide derived from the β chain of human Fgn, has a unique ability to inhibit the angiogenic responses of ECs to multiple GFs such as VEGF, FGF2, PDGF and HGF in vitro, and to inhibit tumour vascularisation in vivo.
