NFE2L2 and infection: Consistent with previous reports [20],[41], we detected an early (24 h post-infection) induction of chaperone proteins and numerous components of the NF-E2-related factor-2 (Nrf2)-mediated oxidative stress response, providing evidence for endoplasmic reticulum (ER)/oxidative stress during acute infection of cultured Huh-7.5 cells (Fig. 3, Supplementary Table S2).
