Of note, U-5HIAA (20 [6-47] vs. 6 [2-25] μmol/mmol creatinine, p = 0.03) and CgA (26 [15-153] vs 16 [6-38] nmol/L, p = 0.02) levels were significantly elevated in the patients fulfilling the criteria for CHD which is in agreement with previous studies [2,4].
