In contrast, we have previously shown that transient transfection of the miR-200c mimic into MDA-MB-231 (an aggressive triple negative breast cancer cell line) and Hec50 (an aggressive Type 1 endometrial cancer cell line) causes a marked repression of ZEB1 and a restoration of E-cadherin expression [30].
