The gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) signaling pathway, known to be regulated by estrogen, was represented by two proteins (matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) and phospholipase A2 (PLA2G1B)), and a pathway associated with bladder cancer was represented by three proteins (MMP2, thrombospondin 1 (THBS1), and vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGFC)). This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and urinary bladder cancer.
