In the patient group with p53-negative tumors, the actuarial breast cancer-specific survival for the patients carrying the TP53 CC genotype (Pro/Pro) was worse, though not statistically significantly, at 10 years of follow-up as compared to those carrying TP53 GG/GC (Arg/Arg; Arg/Pro) (71% versus 80% P = 0.07; Figure 1).
