ZEB1 and posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy: Key corneal characteristics, such as endothelial count and pachymetry, have not been routinely included in previous publications and relatively brief descriptions of the corneal phenotypes segregating with the TCF8 mutations are described in two major studies [11,13], and the third concludes that “the PPCD3 ocular phenotype resulting from TCF8 mutation appears to be a simple PPCD phenotype, although it shows great variation in range of severity” [12].
