Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a multifactorial chronic inflammatory joint disease that involves secretion of proinflammatory cytokines such as tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin 1 (IL-1), and IL-6 which are associated with local inflammation and a systemic reaction [1, 2]. Here, IL6 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
