Several studies have shown that carriers of deleterious, germline mutations in BRCA2 are at an increased risk of developing PCa, especially early-onset PCa (Risch et al, 2001; Thompson and Easton, 2002; Edwards et al, 2003; Kirchhoff et al, 2004; Agalliu et al, 2007). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
