As tumour angiogenesis correlates with metastatic disease, N-myc amplification, and poor outcome in human neuroblastoma, and some studies suggest that N-myc may function in part by promoting angiogenesis via VEGF, it would be important to compare N-myc amplification with VEGF expression in the clinical trials [3,41].
