Two main groups were identified, one over-expressing markers typically found in sporadic luminal tumours such as GATA3, TFF1 and SCUBE2 (right panel), and the other negative for ESR1, ERBB2 and the PR gene (PGR) (triple negative) and over-expressing genes from the basal layer such as CDH3, CRYAB and KRT5-17 (left panel).
