Furthermore we have shown that CXCL8 immunolocalised to the same cellular compartment in endometrial adenocarcinomas as the FP receptor and CXCR2 (the receptor for CXCL8) [16] and that CXCL8 expression and release is regulated in endometrial carcinoma explants ex vivo by PGF2α via the FP receptor. Here, CXCR2 is linked to endometrial carcinoma.
