Over-expression of miR-200b and/or miR-200c in 4TO7 cells, either by transient transfection of miRNA mimics or infection with a miR-141-200c cluster-expressing retrovirus, led to a loss of Zeb2 expression, an increase in E-cadherin expression and the acquisition of an epithelial-like morphology. The gene discussed is CDH1; the disease is infection.
