When GOTO cells at 1 day after Ad-LAPTM5 infection were treated with a proteasomal inhibitor (ALLN or MG132) or a lysosomal inhibitor (Bafilomycin A1; Baf.A1 or NH4Cl) for 1 day, a remarkable accumulation of LAPTM5 was detected by western blotting, compared with that in Ad-LAPTM5-infected GOTO cells without each of these treatments (Figure 3D). This evidence concerns the gene LAPTM5 and infection.
