Correspondingly, in patients with colon cancer stage III, Kaplan–Meier curves showed significant associations between a high Ki-67 (⩾40%) and better RFS (P=0.007) and CSS (P=0.017) in the group that was given adjuvant treatment, but not in the group without adjuvant chemotherapy. This evidence concerns the gene MKI67 and malignant colon neoplasm.
