This is further evidenced by the current reports that overexpression of FOXG1 is associated with the development of human medulloblastoma and glioblastoma through abolishing TGF-β-mediated growth inhibition by suppressing the transcription activation of p21WAF1/CIP1 (Seoane et al, 2004; Adesina et al, 2007b).
