In mild and moderate colitis, we evidenced higher expression of MAGL in acute [64.57±1.60 vs 60.03±0.72 (×103) in mild; 67.41±3.49 vs 60.03±0.72 (×103) in moderate; p<0.05] and quiescent [68.25±0.96 vs 60.03±0.72 (×103) in mild; 67.36±2.54 vs 60.03±0.72 (×103) in moderate; p<0.001 and p<0.05 respectively] stages compared with controls. The gene discussed is MGLL; the disease is colitis.
