EGFR and colorectal neoplasm: In the present analysis FISH EGFR GCN ≥ 2.6 correlated with improved response rate and time to progression, confirming its prominent role in predicting clinical outcome to cetuximab therapy even among K-RAS wild-type colorectal tumors and globally suggesting the possibility to further identify responding patients with the use of combined K-RAS mutation and FISH EGFR GCN analyses.
