Other BC predisposition genes, such as TP53 (associated with Li-Fraumeni and Li-Fraumeni-like syndromes, LFS/LFL), PTEN (associated with Cowden syndrome, CS) and CHEK2 (associated with Hereditary Breast and Colorectal Cancer, HBCC) have been identified and are thought to have important, albeit lower contributions to hereditary breast cancer (HBC) [12-17]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is Li-fraumeni-like syndrome.
