TP53 and colorectal cancer: The most important findings of this study are as follows: 1, cDNA sequencing appears superior to DNA sequencing in detecting P53 missense mutations in colorectal cancer; 2, colorectal cancer demonstrates overexpression of mutated P53 mRNA; 3, positive P53 immunoreactivity in CC, along with negative results for P53 DNA sequencing, should not be so readily discarded in favor of the results of DNA analysis [16,21].
