ACE and Hypertension resistant to conventional therapy: The patients with resistant hypertension were treated with a mean of 3.7 drugs (100% diuretics, 50% ACE inhibitors, 68% Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonists, 70% beta blockers, 24% alfa blockers, 58% calcium channels blockers, 2% others), there were no significant differences between the resistant hypertension group treatment and the controlled hypertension group treatment.
