Mammaglobin B is a secretoglobin family member, known to be normally expressed by mammary gland [6], human endometrium [8] and pituitary [11] and to be involved in the development of adenocarcinomas originating from various organs [12-17], including ovary and endometrium, as recently described by our group [18,19]. The gene discussed is SCGB2A1; the disease is adenocarcinoma.
