The investigators performed EMSA experiments with nuclear extracts of rat liver, kidney and intestine and of SV40-induced choroid plexus papilloma of transgenic mice, but unfortunately probed for HNF4alpha binding with an oligonucleotide corresponding to the HNF4α binding site in the mouse TTR (transthyretin) promoter. This evidence concerns the gene HNF4A and choroid plexus papilloma.
