Nevertheless, the present results suggest some features worthy of note: Informative low-titer autoantibody patterns include IgM and/or IgG reactivities to molecules, a) known to associated with tumors (p53, CA, PSA, MAGE, MART, cytokeratin), although not necessarily known to be connected to the 3LL lung carcinoma; b) known to be associated with autoimmune diseases, but not to tumors (insulin, MOG, myosin, DNA); and c) not known to be associated with either tumors or autoimmune diseases (gliadin, fibrinogen, glucagon). This evidence concerns the gene INS and lung carcinoma.
