Our results further showed that treatment with the NMDA receptor antagonist MK-801 (5 μg, 30 min prior to, during and 10 min after HFS) significantly reduced the level of p-CaMKII and p-ERK at 10 min (Fig. 3E, F) and p-CREB at 2 h (Fig. 3G, H) after the HFS.
