Bcl-2-Immunonegativity noted in only 2 out of 20 cases of the present study might indicated failure of bcl-2 to block apoptosis in certain circumstances such as apoptosis induced by cytotoxic T-lymphocytes [18], a finding that might indicated a reactive nature of the lymphoid tissue in Warthin's tumor [29]. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is Warthin tumor.
