In one study analyzing 73 cancer cases Cheng et al. [60] found significantly high adducts levels than controls (33), but no association was observed with CYP1A1Msp1 or GSTM1 genotypes; on the contrary data reported by Li et al. [71] demonstrated an association between high adducts and CYP1A1 polymorphism in pancreatic cancer patients. This evidence concerns the gene CYP1A1 and cancer.
