Arf6 has moreover been shown to play crucial roles in higher orders of various cellular functions (13–15), including Fcγ-receptor-mediated phagocytosis (16), disassembly of E-cadherin-mediated epithelial cell–cell adhesions (17,18), recycling of integrin β1 (19), and in tumor invasion and metastasis (20,21). This evidence concerns the gene ARF6 and neoplasm.
