Additional support is provided by the observation that tumours in SBC-2 (SBC-2-CXCR1 and SBC-2-CXCR2) and A375P (A375P-CXCR1 and A375P-CXCR2) groups had increased tumour cell proliferation and survival, further suggesting the importance of CXCR1 and CXCR2 in the regulation of phenotypes associated with melanoma growth. This evidence concerns the gene CXCR2 and neoplasm.
