CD4+CD25+TNFRII+ T cells were found to express higher levels of Foxp3 than CD4+CD25+TNFRII− T cells (Figure 3D), consistent with our earlier observations on TNFRII+ and TNFRII− Treg cells from malaria-exposed individuals (Figure 2C). The gene discussed is TNFRSF1B; the disease is malaria.
