To test whether MAM proteins are detectable on living breast cancer cells in vitro, we incubated the known MAM positive human breast cancer cells MDA-MB361 (MB361) with the FITC labeled anti-MAM monoclonal antibody, and then monitored the cell fluorescent signals at 1, 4, and 24 hours after the incubation. This evidence concerns the gene SGCG and breast carcinoma.
