Evidence has been presented that BAFF/APRIL contribute to malignancies of B cells and plasma cells: non-Hodgkin's lymphoma [12-16], Hodgkin lymphoma[17], chronic lymphocytic leukemia[18,19], multiple myeloma [20-24] and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia[25]. The gene discussed is TNFSF13B; the disease is Hodgkins lymphoma.
