Table 3 presents the results of our empirical data analyses of eight genes involved in estrogen metabolism. In AA breast cancer, the highest scoring bi-clique involved the joint effect of CYP1B1*4 and UGT1A1 genotypes. The second highest scoring bi-clique also involved these two genes, but also included CYP1A1*2C genotype. The third bi-clique also involved genotypes of UGT1A1, but involved the additional effect of SULT1E1 genotypes. In EA breast cancer, the highest scoring bi-clique involved the joint effect of CYP1A2 genotypes, SULT1A1 genotypes, and UGT1A1 genotypes. This evidence concerns the gene CYP1B1 and breast cancer.
