CD63 and HIV-1 infection: We analyzed by immuno-confocal microscopy the influence of HIV-1 infection of MOLT T lymphoblastic cells (MOLT/HIV-1) on the cellular distribution of several tetraspanins, such as CD9, CD63, CD81 and CD82, in comparison with other membrane proteins, such as the CD45 tyrosine phosphatase, which is known as a marker of the plasma membrane [36], and Lamp2 which is a lysosome-associated membrane protein [37].
