Dendritic cells were differentiated from CD14+ monocytes for 7 days by GM-CSF and IL-4 in the presence of either supernatants from RCC cultured under hypoxic conditions (Figure 1B) or from VEGF (Figure 2A), leading to a strong inhibition of their ability to induce allogenic T-cell proliferation, as determined by the primary MLR.
