Abnormal methylation of the ADAM33 promoter region in breast carcinomas was not associated with any significant difference in tumour stage (p = 0.641), histological differentiation grade (SBR; p = 0.799), lymph node status (p = 0.965), hormone receptor status (ER, p = 0.751; PR, p = 0.678), ERBB2 status (p = 0.378) or metastasis status (p = 0.548).
