Taken together, these data extend upon and support the observations of Hovatta et al [7] which showed a positive relationship between anxiety-like behavior and Glo1 expression, but are inconsistent with studies based on selection for divergent levels of anxiety-like behavior in CD-1 mice, which showed a negative relationship between anxiety-like behavior and Glo1 expression [8], [9], [10], [11].
