TNF and rheumatic disorder: In secondary assays the combination was found to inhibit production of a unique profile of cytokines, chemokines, and proteases from LPS-stimulated mouse bone-derived macrophages, including synergistic suppression of TNF-α, IL-6, and chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 5, which are validated targets in rheumatic disease (Fraser CC, unpublished data).
