RB1 and cancer: Our transcript profiling data from the ‘HG_U133 plus 2.0’ data set (10 normal mucosa samples and 344 cancers) showed that the average E2F3 transcript level was 1.67-fold (log 2 scale) higher in cancer than in normal mucosa (Table 1), whereas RB1 remained unchanged (P=0.26, two class unpaired test Benjamini and Hockberg corrected).
