DNAJC5 and infection: Independent of bed net use, higher socio-economic level (according to equipment and education levels) was associated with a significantly lower risk of infection (OR = 0.75; 95%CI: 0.61–0.92 for education level and OR = 0.53; 95%CI: 0.43–0.66 for equipment), without significant associations with the prevalence of anti-CSP antibodies i.e. the exposure to malaria transmission.
