RAB10 and Huntington disease: YPT6 codes for a RAS-like GTPase required for fusion of endosome-derived vesicles with the late Golgi and is homologous to the C. elegans LAG rab-10[13], which is thought to act in the same pathway as dietary restriction (DR) and has recently been shown to modulate resistance to polyglutamine toxicity in a nematode model of Huntington's disease [18], [19].
