CXCR4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Recently, it was shown that the phosphorylation of CXCR4 at serine 339 may be a way to express the CXCR4 function on the cells (Woerner et al, 2005), thus our data further confirmed that CXCR4 shRNA-transfected cells could effectively inhibit CXCR4 function in pancreatic cancers.
