The angiogenic factors vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) (Fujimoto et al, 1999a) and thymidine phosphorylase identified with platelet-derived endothelial cell growth factor (Fujimoto et al, 1999b, 1999c, 2000) and interleukin (IL-8) along with the angiogenic transcriptional factor ETS-1 (Fujimoto et al, 2002) work on angiogenesis in uterine cancers. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and uterine cancer.
